Women and Girls Make Glasgow

Yesterday, I joined the International Women's Day March from Kelvingrove Park to George Square. This was organised by SWAG, which is a feminist platform at the University of Glasgow. Various protest banners were displayed on the march.

This year, the theme of International Womens Day is Embrace Equity. It is critical to understand the difference between equity and equality. To achieve inclusion and belonging require equitable action. We can all challenge gender stereotypes, call out discrimination, draw attention to bias and seek out inclusion.
