The Applecross Basin is a great place to spend time outdoors and enjoy views of the Forth and Clyde Canal.

In recent weeks, I have enjoyed walks at this section of the canal towpath and dropped in to the new community cafe at the Old Basin House on Applecross Street.

The restoration of the Old Basin House, which was built in 1790, for use by a social enterprise is very much welcomed.
