Demolition of Arnold Clark Showroom

The demolition of the Arnold Clark Showroom on St. Georges Road, at the corner of Grant Street has been completed, this month. Whilst I was walking along St. Georges Road, I witnessed the demolition work taking place.

This site is being cleared for a new private housing development involving 65 apartments. The size and scale of this new build will bring a significant change to the architectural appearance of this area.

Further progress on cycle lane at Garscube Road

This month, there has been significant progress on the installation of the segregated cycle lane on Garscube Road, at the junction with St. Georges Road and Possil Road. 

Construction of the new segregated cycle lane on Garscube Road

The construction of the new cycle lane has continued during January 2021 with traffic management measures in place to maintain use of the junction for all. This is part of the Connecting Woodside Project.
