Spring flowers in planters across Woodlands

This month, I have noticed the many flowers blooming within planters across Woodlands.

There have been new planters with bulbs planted and established within back lanes leading from West Princes Street.

Thanks to the volunteers involved in gardening activities using the planters throughout Woodlands. These flowers are appreciated for brightening up the daily lives of residents and visitors.

School car-free zone at Dunard Primary

The car-free zone introduced at the start and end of the school day has been made permanent at Dunard Primary School. Specific signage has been installed on Braeside Street.

The school street project is seeking to improve road safety by reducing the number of vehicles at the school gates. Both Braeside Street and Dunard Street are affected with driving of vehicles prohibited during the period 8.30am - 9.15am and 2.30pm - 3.15pm.

Road closure at Queen Margaret Road

There is ongoing concern from residents about the road closure at Queen Margaret Road. Further information is awaited from survey work to be carried out by council officials.

After 6 months of this road closure, there is a need to avoid any further delays in the survey work being completed and for any findings to be shared with residents.
