This month, it has been a relief to find the scaffolding taken down at 16-18 Oakfield Avenue. It has been possible for the road to reopen from Glasgow Street in to Oakfield Avenue.

Beautiful blossoms at Napiershall Park
There have been tree blossoms to enjoy when getting around, this month. Recently, I noticed some beautiful trees in bloom within the Napiershall Park, Woodside. These blossoms are a boost to our local parks and greenspaces.
Promoting a litter free environment
This month, I noticed that the gardening work to enhance the area of plants on North Woodside Road has been completed. This is seeking to promote an improvement in the area's environment.

Support for spaces for people on Kelvin Way
Recently, I enjoyed a walk along the traffic free Kelvin Way. It is the location of the Suffragette Oak which won Tree of the Year 2015. It was planted on 20th April 1918 by Suffragette organisations to remember women gaining the right to vote.
