Safety concerns at underpass, Garscube Road
Over the weekend, I noticed that additional CCTV cameras and better lighting has improved the underpass at Garscube Road, next to the M8 Woodside Viaduct.
In addition, the barriers to stop cycling in the underpass have been removed. New signage refers to shared space being used and cyclists are requested to walk their bikes through the underpass.
There is a need to maintain the enhanced lighting, improvements to CCTV coverage and better access without barriers as part of community safety activity in the area.
