Restoration of Cameron Memorial Fountain

Currently, the Cameron Memorial Fountain is surrounded by heras fencing. It is needing urgent repairs and maintenance to be retained as a significant historic landmark. It has tilted for over 100 years.

The memorial fountain was erected by public subscription in 1896.

It is constructed to commemorate the life of Sir Charles Cameron who was a newspaper editor, publisher, and a Glasgow MP for 21 years.

A fundraising effort is required to cover the costs of the restoration work and protect this memorial for future generations.
